Length Stop

Kaltenbach manufacturers a wide range of material handling equipment for its line of circular cold saws.   Our rugged input roller conveyors can be used with both our semi-automatic and automatic machines. 

Our length measuring units are primarily supplied with our semi-automatic machines.  We offer a manual length stop (L 45 E) with measurement by scale and vernier, as well as a programmable length stop (L 40 NC) ideal for low batch run jobs.

Our conveyor and length stop systems are used on both our ferrous and non-ferrous ranges of equipment, and are designed to take solid bar weights.

Kaltenbach also manufacturers three different styles of automatic loading magazines.

Our Flat Magazine is our most universal version, and is designed to accept rounds, rectangles, flats, channels and angle.  Bars are dragged forward in individual compartments to a powered infeed roller conveyor, which then powers the bars into the machine.

Our Inclined Magazine is designed for rounds and squares, and provides an economical method for loading bundles of solids or tubing into our automatic circular cold saws.  A single raft of material is created on the inclined stillage arms of the magazine.  Bars are hydraulically lifted onto the infeed roller conveyor and then driven into the machine.

Our Bundle Magazine is also designed for rounds and squares, and is used only when entire bundles of material are to be processed.  The bundle magazine includes a descrambling unit which helps align the bars. Bars are hydraulically lifted onto the infeed roller conveyor and then driven into the machine.
