RKL 551 AX Circular Cold Saw

RKL 551 AX Circular Cold Saw RKL 551 AX Circular Cold Saw

The RKL 551 AX non-ferrous automatic circular cold saw offers the best combination of high performance and premium surface finish.  The machine utilizes a floating feed carriage, driven on a ball screw, to accurately position the piece to be cut.  After the saw cut is made, the machine separates the blade from the material, for a “contact free” return stroke, eliminating chatter marks on the cut surface.   Cut parts can be taken directly to the next operation (drilling, tapping, etc) without secondary finishing, as with the case of manifold blocks and large electrical connectors.  The machine comes standard with NC control for cut lengths and quantities, and is available in a straight cutting version only.  Other standard features include:

  • Sound Attenuation Cabinet around entire machine
  • Vertical and Horizontal Clamping on both side of the blade
  • Programming of Quantity or Bar Oriented Sawing
  • Incremental or Absolute material feed

Productivity and efficiency are enhanced with the use of our T3 Handling Equipment. Kaltenbach manufactures three different styles of automatic loading magazines to increase the efficiency of our automatic circular cold saws: flat, inclined, and bundle.
